Yam Kueh
One of my favourites, yam kueh. I still remember there is one stall in Chinatown which sells fantastic steamed yam kueh and there was always a long queue whenever I patronise the stall. While what I made can't be compared to the uncle in Chinatown, I am satisfied with the taste.

Bread bread bread
Have the itch to bake bread yet again. Had some leftover red bean paste and decided to use them up. I tried baking the 'ju dan' and oops, the chocolate filling erupted in the oven!!
HAPPY VESAK DAY
As usual, every 1st and 15th of the lunar year, I will make some huat kueh. Have been experimenting on the techniques and various ways to make the huat kueh really smile. So far, I have not found the right recipe to my liking which the huat kueh will really split on top.

Bread Baking agaIN and others
This is one of myn favourites, shui jiao (dumplings). I replaced pork with chicken as I prefer the latter. I cooked some sauce and pour it over the boiled shui jiao to give them extra taste.
I tried making cereal prawns. Personally, it's not really my favourite. But I decided to try it out.
This is bread with tuna filling.

It's bread making again. I wanted to use up the cheddar cheese which I bought some time ago. So I came up with the idea of double cheese, wrapping the dough with the normal slice cheese and topped with grated cheddar. Thus it's called 'Double Cheese Delight'.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
It's Mother's Day again. Last year, I made my mum a yoghurt cake. This year, I decided to experiment with a durian cake as the durian season is here too. It's quite a success and I would use better quality durian the next time round.

Bread Making
Have not baked bread for ages and my hands are getting itchy. So decided to bake coffee rolls last Saturday. But I still could not get the coffee aroma which I want.

What's for dinner
I chanced upon the sutchi fish fillet in the supermarkets one day. The price was rather economical compared to the rising prices of everything nowadays. Had wanted to cook sweet and sour fish for a long time. And so with this good buy, I finally made the dish. Here it is...
