The long awaited bread....

This bread took 28 hours to prove. I suspect the amount of yeast I added could be erroneous or the yeast was not fresh. I had tempted to throw away the dough after it still retained its original size after 1 hour of proving. But I decided to experiment and see if it ever 'grow'. After about 10 hours or so, I found that it has expanded a little. And so I decided to leave it overnight to see the result, out of curiosity. So viola... after 28 hours, here it was.... and the taste was rather good...

Revamping my blog

After a layoff for a very long time, I decided to give myself another try to keep the blog. Thanks to the encouragement of one of the bloggers whose blog I visited often. Her blog is an inpiration to me and I really hope I will be able to post more often and make my blog more interesting. But still, I know I need to brush up my skills on photo taking. Will try my very best. I will start with what i have done for the period when I post up nothing. So here goes...

Getting lax....

Have not been posting anything for a long long time. I guess it really takes determinaton and passion to update posts regularly. Perhaps I am someone who doesn't really know how to pen my thoughts and taking the time to browse other bloggers' blog seem much simpler to me. I do admire those very well-kept and updated blogs. One thing I can never achieve is taking nice pics to post. I am just no good in taking nice pics. Which angle to take, what to place as background, lighting or not... sigh... I just don't have what it takes to be a good photographer... that is one reason why I don't really update my blog...
